Tooth & Nail rock band The Fold is getting ready to release their new Stargazer EP Tuesday, August 26 via online digital music sellers like Amazon and iTunes. Today the band released a sampler of the songs on their myspace page along with this bit about the release. For a little more about the project, read our recent JFH interview with frontman Dan Castady...
"Welcome to our Stargazer EP. The idea of this EP was birthed when we wrote and recorded the song "Faster Still" from 2007's Secrets Keep You Sick. We all love the song, and the fact that it displayed a whole new side of The Fold, showcasing our love for electronic music. We didn't want to scare our longtime fans too much with a whole record of this nature, so we decided to make an EP, and use it as a platform for experimentation. We had a blast making it, and are really excited about the way the songs turned out. As you check it out, we encourage you to open your mind, and catch the same spirit that we did when we made it.We're heading in to make our new record this October, and it will rock your face off! In the meantime, be sure to pick up this EP through itunes or Amazon.com starting August 26th, 2008!"
